TEIN H.Tech Lowering Springs for FD3S Mazda RX-7
A near-level drop of under an inch keeps the FD3S RX-7 close to its original ride while trimming the gap above each tire.
TEIN’s H.Tech Lowering Springs for FD3S Mazda RX-7 lower the car just 0.8 inch (21 mm) at the front and 0.7 inch (17 mm) at the rear, less than the roughly 1.2 inches TEIN quotes for most H.Tech fitments. That small, even drop suits a US-market Base, R1, R2 or Touring kept as a road car on its existing dampers. It is the wrong choice for anyone after a dramatic stance or adjustable height for circuit work.
TEIN was founded in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985 by former rally mechanic Hakaru Ichino, joined soon after by driver Yoshio Fujimoto. The team reached the World Rally Championship in 1989, and in 1995 Fujimoto won the Safari Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, the first Japanese driver to do so. TEIN launched its own dampers in 1990 and came to supply around 80 percent of the dampers in the N1 Taikyu endurance series. TEIN USA has served the Americas from Downey, California, since 2001.
