TECHART Carbon Roof Spoiler for 992.1 & 992.2 Porsche 911 Coupes

The TECHART roof spoiler for the 992 is a profiled aerodynamic extension that installs at the top of the rear window, serving two purposes at once. Visually, it extends and enlarges the perceived roofline, giving the coupe a more purposeful silhouette from the rear quarter. Functionally, the shaped profile catches and directs the airstream toward whichever TECHART rear spoiler variant the car is running; Rear Spoiler I, Rear Spoiler II, or Rear Spoiler III. Rather than allowing airflow to detach cleanly off the roofline before reaching the rear spoiler, this piece feeds it directly into the spoiler’s working surface, improving the effectiveness of whatever rear downforce setup the car carries.

Does the TECHART roof spoiler work without a TECHART rear spoiler installed? The roof spoiler can be installed on its own; it does not require a TECHART rear spoiler to mount correctly. However, its aerodynamic function is specifically to direct airflow toward a TECHART rear spoiler variant. Without one, it functions primarily as a visual roofline extension. For the full aerodynamic benefit, pairing it with a TECHART Rear Spoiler I, II, or III is the intended setup.
Does the TECHART roof spoiler fit the 992 Targa or Cabriolet? No. The TECHART roof spoiler for the 992 fits Coupe models only. It does not fit the Targa or Cabriolet variants, which have different rear window and roof configurations.
Which finish option should I choose? The paintable polyurethane variant arrives unfinished and must be professionally painted before installation, which gives it the most flexibility for color-matching to the car’s body. The visible carbon matte and gloss options are ready to install without painting; the choice between them depends on whether the rest of the build leans toward a reflective or understated carbon aesthetic.
How does the TECHART roof spoiler actually improve aerodynamic performance? The profiled shape of the roof spoiler catches airflow as it travels over the top of the car and channels it down toward the rear spoiler’s working surface. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
