What does the V10 Turbo Kit include?

It includes T1-spec Xona turbochargers, T1 manifolds and mounting, water-to-air intercoolers with Garrett cores, a front-mount heat exchanger, water tank and brushless pump, Turbosmart wastegates and blow-off valves, dual solenoid boost control, a 3.5 inch stainless exhaust, intercooler piping and 4 inch intakes.

Why did T1 choose Xona turbochargers?

T1 Race Development picked Xona turbochargers for their balance of quick spool and top-end power on the 5.2 liter V10. The turbos are built to T1 specification and mount on T1 manifolds, with blankets on the manifolds and turbines to keep heat in the hot side.

How does the kit keep intake temperatures down?

Charge air passes through water-to-air intercoolers with Garrett cores. A brushless pump circulates the water through 16AN lines to a front-mount heat exchanger and a T1 water tank, so heat taken from the charge air is shed at the front of the car.

Can I choose the powdercoat color?

Yes. Powdercoat in any color is included on the compressor covers, intercoolers, piping, intakes and intake ducting of the T1 V10 Turbo Kit. Tell Bulletproof Automotive the colors when ordering, while the hot side keeps its Cerakote ceramic coating for heat control.

Does the kit include a fuel system or a tune?

No. The kit covers the turbochargers, charge cooling, boost control, intakes and exhaust, with no fuel system, engine management or calibration. A turbocharged V10 needs all three, so plan them with Bulletproof Automotive and the tuner before the kit is fitted.

Description

T1 Race Development V10 Turbo Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8

T1 Race Development’s V10 Turbo Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 packages the forced induction system T1 builds for the 5.2 liter V10, pairing T1-spec Xona turbochargers and T1 manifolds with water-to-air charge cooling. Boost control, intakes and a stainless exhaust come in the same order, and the visible cold-side parts are powdercoated in whatever color the owner picks.

Design and Performance

T1 chose Xona turbochargers for their balance of spool and top-end power. Charge air runs through T1 water-to-air intercoolers with Garrett cores, and a brushless pump moves the water through 16AN lines to a front-mount heat exchanger and a T1 water tank, which keeps intake temperatures consistent. Turbosmart Hypergate wastegates and Raceport blow-off valves work under a T1-spec dual solenoid boost controller. Manifolds, turbine housings and the main exhaust are Cerakote ceramic coated, with T1-spec blankets on the manifolds and turbines.

Choosing a Version

T1 builds the kit for the 2017 to 2019 R8, the 2020 to 2023 R8 and the LB724 Huracán, all at the same price.

Notes

The V10 Turbo Kit does not list a fuel system, engine management or a calibration; T1 builds matching fuel systems, such as the T1 Race Development Complete Fuel System for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 (T1 Huracan R8 CFS Kit)
Powdercoat colors are chosen at order, and T1 notes that pricing can change with the options selected
T1 lists its V10 intercooler pair as not fitting the Huracán Performante, so confirm the exact model with BA first

About T1 Race Development

T1 Race Development was founded in Texas in 2005 by Tony Palo, whose 2000 Acura Integra GSR became the first eight-second front-wheel-drive street car before the shop turned its attention to the Nissan GT-R. T1 went on to become the first to exceed 230 mph in the half mile in a GT-R and the first to make 2,400 whp from the VR38DETT, and it now develops engines, drivetrain parts and complete builds for the R35 GT-R, Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
