Which V10 EMAP Damper Kit fits my car?

T1 Race Development makes two fitments of the V10 EMAP Damper Kit. One fits the second generation Audi R8 and the original Lamborghini Huracán, but not the Huracán EVO and Performante. The other fits the Huracán EVO and Performante only. Choose the matching model option when ordering.

What does the With Sensors option add?

It adds two Honeywell 150G pressure sensors, two outlet sensor lines with fittings and two pressure sensor wiring harnesses to the canisters, inlet lines and fittings in the base kit. Choose Without Sensors if the car already has suitable pressure sensors and wiring.

How does the kit connect to the exhaust?

Each bank uses an O2 plug that T1 Race Development has modified to accept a pressure line fitting, with an M18 copper washer. A wound stainless inlet line runs from that plug to the T1 EMAP canister, and the sensor connects to the canister outlet.

Why use a canister rather than mounting the sensor directly?

T1 Race Development calls the kit a damper kit: the canister and the stainless inlet line sit between the exhaust and the pressure sensor, so the sensor is mounted away from the exhaust rather than on it. Two kits cover both banks of the V10.

Does the kit work with any ECU?

The kit supplies the plumbing and, in the sensor versions, Honeywell sensors and wiring harnesses. The ECU still needs spare inputs available and a calibration that uses exhaust pressure, so confirm both points with the tuner before ordering the kit.

Description

T1 Race Development V10 EMAP Damper Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8

T1 Race Development’s V10 EMAP Damper Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 gives an ECU a way to read exhaust back pressure on both banks of the V10. Each side uses a T1 EMAP canister on a wound stainless inlet line, fed from a modified O2 plug, so the pressure sensor is not mounted at the exhaust itself. Order it as hardware only, for sensors already on hand, or with a pair of Honeywell sensors and their wiring.

Choosing a Version

T1 builds two fitments. One suits the second generation R8 and the original Huracán, and does not fit the Huracán EVO and Performante; the other is made for the Huracán EVO and Performante and does not fit the R8 or the base Huracán. Each comes with or without sensors. The sensor version adds two Honeywell 150G pressure sensors, two outlet sensor lines with fittings and two pressure sensor wiring harnesses.

Features

Two T1 EMAP canisters, one per bank
Wound stainless inlet lines from modified O2 plugs
Separate fitments for the R8 and Huracán and for the Huracán EVO and Performante
Optional Honeywell 150G pressure sensors with harnesses
NPT to AN fittings, copper washers and mounting hardware included

What’s Included

(2) T1 EMAP canisters
(2) O2 plugs modified for pressure line fittings
(2) Wound stainless inlet lines and fittings
(6) NPT to AN fittings
(2) M18 copper washers
(2) 1/8 NPT female to -03AN male adapters
(2) M6x16 Torx bolts with nylon nuts
With Sensors versions add: (2) Honeywell 150G pressure sensors, (2) outlet sensor lines with fittings and (2) pressure sensor wiring harnesses

Applications

Audi R8: 4S | 2017-2023 | 5.2L V10
Lamborghini Huracán: LB724 | 2015-2024 | 5.2L V10

Notes

Choose the model carefully; the R8 and Huracán kit does not fit the Huracán EVO and Performante, and the EVO and Performante kit does not fit the R8 or base Huracán
Without Sensors versions need pressure sensors and wiring supplied separately
The V10 EMAP Damper Kit reads exhaust pressure for the ECU; calibration to use it is the tuner’s job

About T1 Race Development

T1 Race Development was founded in Texas in 2005 by Tony Palo, whose 2000 Acura Integra GSR became the first eight-second front-wheel-drive street car before the shop turned its attention to the Nissan GT-R. T1 went on to become the first to exceed 230 mph in the half mile in a GT-R and the first to make 2,400 whp from the VR38DETT, and it now develops engines, drivetrain parts and complete builds for the R35 GT-R, Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
