Supersprint’s Secondary Resonator Delete Centre Pipes for G87 BMW M2 replace the factory secondary resonator with a pair of straight centre pipes, right and left, and they are one of the few parts in the Supersprint G87 range held in stock rather than built to order. Supersprint lists them as the alternative to its centre X-Pipe. Both take the resonator out; the difference is whether the two pipes stay separate through the mid section or are joined by a crossover. Separate pipes are the simpler and less expensive of the two, and they suit an owner who wants the resonator gone without paying for the crossover. Unlike the J-Pipes, these are registered for G87 cars with and without the particulate filter.

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
