Does the SW388 16 Inch Wheel fit a US Fit?

Yes. Spoon registers the 16 x 7.0J +48 for the GE8 and GK5 Fit, the cars sold in the US as the 2009 to 2013 Fit Sport and the 2015 to 2020 Fit. The SW388 16 Inch Wheel uses the 4-100 bolt pattern and a 56.1 mm center bore on that size.

What should an S660 run front and rear?

Spoon lists this 16 x 7.0J +48 for the rear of the S660 and the 15 x 6.5J +45 SW388 for the front, the front size being compatible with the Spoon Full Monocoque Caliper. Order two of each to build the staggered setup Spoon intends for the car.

Which cars suit the 7.5J +30 sizes?

Spoon does not register a particular vehicle for either 16 x 7.5J +30 size. They are offered in 4-100 and 5-114.3 for owners who have worked out their own offset, tire and suspension package, so check clearance at the inner arch, the brakes and the fender before ordering.

Who makes the new SW388?

Tan-ei-sya, a forged wheel specialist in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, forges and machines it for Spoon. Everything is done in Japan. The finish is anodized rather than painted, the same approach as the original wheel, because anodizing is lighter and tougher than a painted coat.

Why is the hub mounting face not flat?

Spoon cut an arched relief into the inner face, an idea taken from the arch of a human foot. It moves clamping pressure outward, strengthening the joint between hub and wheel, absorbing shock that would reach the hub and knuckle, improving centering and helping prevent the lug nuts from loosening.

Description

Spoon Sports SW388 16 Inch Wheel for GE8 / GK5 / GP5 Honda Fit and JW5 S660

The Spoon Sports SW388 16 Inch Wheel brings the most requested wheel in the Spoon catalogue to the Fit and the S660. Honda fans asked for the SW388 to return for years after the original went out of production, and Spoon answered by having it forged and machined by Tan-ei-sya in Toyama Prefecture, one of the leading forged wheel makers in Japan, with every step carried out in the country. The 16 x 7.0J +48 4-100 size weighs 5.6 kg and is the Spoon fitment for the GE8 and GK5 Fit, the GP5 Fit Hybrid and the rear axle of the S660. Two 7.5J +30 sizes, in 4-100 and 5-114.3, widen the choice for owners building their own setups. The finish is matte black anodizing rather than paint, lighter and harder wearing. For a Fit driven hard on back roads or at autocross, cutting rotating mass this way is one of the most noticeable changes available.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
