Spoon Sports’ Brake Hose Set for GK5 Fit is the third-generation version of the Spoon braided line kit, registered for the L15B-powered Fit 15X with CVT and the Fit RS in CVT and six-speed manual form, all from September 2013. Each line uses a No. 3 Teflon inner tube whose low expansion is the point of the design, wrapped in stainless steel mesh and joined with steel fittings that Spoon chose for strength. The whole set weighs a listed 1 kg and ships in a box of 30 x 16 x 7 cm. As on the GE8 kit, Spoon builds the rear hoses for disc rear brakes, so check what is fitted at the back of the car before ordering. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
