However, incorporating a smooth, cast X-pipe into the rear section establishes a more efficient flow path for the exhaust gases. This improvement is expected to slightly increase gas mileage during cruising and enhance power during aggressive acceleration. The interior casting of the X-pipe is designed to be smooth, without any protrusions from welds. Non-cast designs often face failure at this point due to stress and potential welding technique deficiencies. The conscious decision has been made to offer the most durable X-pipe solution possible. Additionally, titanium single-wall tips offer a weight reduction of nearly a pound compared to stainless steel tips while still providing exceptional performance.
