SOUL Performance Valve Controller Kit for 982 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 / GT4 RS / GTS 4.0

SOUL Performance Products’ Lamborghini Gallardo Muffler Bypass Exhaust is a cost-effective muffler delete that runs straight from the catalytic converter sections to the rear bumper outlets for the lightest design and loudest, most authentic Gallardo V10 sound. Engineered to fit all first-gen Gallardo 5.0L V10 models including SE and Superleggera (2004-2008) and reduce weight by over 50lb versus the factory system, it also incorporates Accuseals to keep the flared pipe ends perfectly centered in the bumper outlets for a clean OEM-plus finish. Each set is designed and built in-house at SOUL’s Willow Grove, PA facility using .060″ wall, 2.5″ diameter T304L stainless steel tubing with laser-cut brackets, then built and test-fit in a thick-gauge aluminum fixture to prevent warping and ensure consistent bolt-on fitment. Manual transmission cars should expect no issues, while E-Gear models may experience a check engine light due to valve removal and reduced expected backpressure, and the system is backed by SOUL’s lifetime warranty for street and track use.

Override Methods

• Method A: The initial approach involves a partial override of the PSE system, catering to individuals who desire the valves to remain open at all times. This method maintains the factory PSE controls unaltered until the valve controller kit is engaged. Upon activation, simply by pressing a button, the kit will assume complete control and ensure the valves remain open constantly. Similarly, with another button press, the option to revert back to the factory PSE controls becomes available, allowing for valve closure and normal operation of the vehicle.
• Method B: The alternative approach provides a comprehensive override of the PSE system, designed for individuals who desire both constant valve opening and closing. This method ensures the valves remain open or closed entirely to comply with sound regulations at different tracks. Notably, the factory PSE programming remains inactive unless the valve controller kit is removed from the vehicle. Switching between complete closure and complete opening can be easily controlled by pressing a button, as there is no automated valve control functionality associated with this method.
• Both Methods: The control of valve actuation can be managed using the provided key fob, which allows you to activate the valves by pressing specific buttons. Alternatively, you have the option to synchronize the key fob signal with two out of the three Homelink garage door buttons. Once synchronized, there is no longer a need to rely on the key fob for valve control, as you can conveniently use the Homelink buttons instead.

Controller Key Fob

• The valve control kit includes a pair of key fobs, allowing you to easily manage the valve operations. Moreover, these key fobs can be paired with the HomeLink buttons, enabling remote valve control with a simple press of a button.
• Enables you to forcibly keep the valves open, resulting in a magnificent sound experience consistently. By default, the car’s valves can close based on operating parameters, which may not always be ideal. This situation becomes even more noticeable and undesirable when using an aftermarket exhaust system.
• Enables you to manually close the valves as needed, offering particular utility in attempts to comply with track decibel restrictions when approaching a metering station.
• To set up the system, wiring is necessary for both a ground connection and a switched 12V power source. Additionally, it is essential to run vacuum to the valve controller solenoid.
