SOUL Performance Sport Muffler Bypass Exhaust for 993 Porsche 911 Carrera

SOUL Performance Products offers a complete high-flow exhaust solution for the 993 that delivers an unmistakable air-cooled chorus while improving power and response. High-flow catalytic converters are integrated into a premium X-pipe section, which feeds into a large-diameter, non-restrictive muffler-bypass rear exhaust. Dedicated configurations for Bischoff and Gillet flange combinations, along with OBD1 and OBD2-specific designs, ensure the ECU receives proper, balanced O2 sensor readings from all cylinders.

Development

SOUL Performance recognized that the 993’s air-cooled engine deserves an exhaust that lets it truly sing, and developed a system suited for both street enthusiasts and RWB builds. By taking a fresh look at the 993 Carrera, SOUL Performance engineered exhaust components around large-diameter 2.5-inch piping to deliver maximum power gains over the factory system. For OBD1 applications, SOUL Performance uses a centrally located single O2 sensor bung to provide the most accurate, balanced readings from all cylinders, avoiding the compromises of shared OBD1 / OBD2 designs where one bung is plugged and an offset sensor primarily monitors a single bank.

Sound

SOUL Performance Products engineered this system to deliver the best of air-cooled character, a strong roar and rich burble without an overbearing cabin experience. Downshifts produce crisp crackles and pops, and idle settles into a deep burble that makes it clear the car is something special. At low throttle and low RPM, the exhaust remains composed for casual cruising and longer drives. High-flow catalytic converters paired with the X-pipe help keep the engine note smooth and prevent rasp while maintaining strong flow. The result is an ideal setup for weekend cruising and show-car duty, drawing the right kind of attention wherever it goes.

Construction

Each exhaust is assembled by SOUL Performance from thick-wall 2.5-inch diameter, 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel and is rigorously quality-checked in-house. Smooth mandrel bends and thick flanges support long-term durability, and every component is fixture test-fit to confirm proper fitment before being foam packed to help ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
