Built around premium HJS HD 200-cell catalysts and thick-wall 2.5-inch T304L stainless tubing, these high-flow cats replace the restrictive factory units to cut back pressure, sharpen throttle response, and add a deeper, more urgent exhaust note with richer turbo spool, all engineered to run without triggering a check engine light. Designed specifically for 2017+ 991.2 Carrera Base and S models without Porsche Sport Exhaust, the converters retain the factory turbo heat shields for a clean OEM-style installation. Each set is assembled and TIG welded in-house, rigorously quality-checked, fixture-tested for precise fitment, and foam packed for safe delivery, then backed by SOUL Performance’s renowned Lifetime Warranty for confident use on both street and track.

Development & Testing

• SOUL embarked on a mission to amplify both power and sound while ensuring the absence of any check engine lights. By incorporating HJS HD 200-cell catalysts, this objective has been successfully achieved.

Construction

• Every set is meticulously assembled in-house using mandrel bent T304L stainless steel with a substantial .065″ wall thickness. Following the assembly process, rigorous in-house quality checks are conducted to ensure adherence to the highest standards. To guarantee exceptional weld quality, penetration, and overall longevity, back purged TIG welding techniques are employed.

HJS HD 200-Cell Catalysts

• The catalytic converters employed are of the utmost quality, recognized for their exceptional flow characteristics and industry-leading durability. These converters exhibit remarkable efficiency, enabling compliance with stringent EURO 4 emission standards while simultaneously accommodating an increase in flow, all without triggering a check engine light. The HD design adopts premium triple foil winding, ensuring maximum strength and resilience. To enhance durability further, an additional feature known as the brazing stripe is incorporated, effectively preventing core movement or damage from sustained high horsepower abuse. SOUL prioritizes the use of a large and appropriately sized catalyst, facilitating maximum gains without making any compromises in the process.
