SOUL Performance Products’ C8 Corvette Valved Exhaust System is built to unlock two genuinely usable personalities for the LT2. A calmer, refined valves-closed mode for comfortable cruising, and a louder, more aggressive valves-open mode that delivers a deeper V8 rumble. Sound quality comes from a bespoke chambered muffler with an internal X-pipe to fight drone and clean up unwanted tones, while valves-open routing allows exhaust to exit through 3-inch piping for a thunderous roar with reduced rasp and a smoother, higher-pitched character. Every component is designed and built in-house using mandrel-bent .060-inch wall T304L stainless steel tubing, laser-cut brackets, and waterjet-cut flanges with back-purged welds for durability. Finishing touches include 4-inch double-wall tips (multiple finishes and straight / slash-cut options) with depth adjustment for precise fitment, plus fixture-built validation and final QC before shipping. AFM valve deletes are included for the factory valves (four-cylinder mode) to help avoid a check engine light, and SOUL notes that some vehicles may still require an AFM-related code recalibration at a dealer after installation. Development

• The factory valved exhaust is fairly free-flowing with valves open, but Soul Performance sought to craft an aggressive non-valved solution that mitigates drone through a longer exhaust tract. Their split bank 3″ crossover design offers maximum flow and a V8 rumble while shedding approximately 20lbs. Valve simulators are included for both NPP and AFM valves to enable removal without triggering a CEL.

Construction

• Each component is made in-house by Soul Performance’s fabrication team from mandrel-bent 0.060″ wall T304L stainless steel tubing, laser-cut brackets, and waterjet-cut flanges. Welds are back-purged for proper penetration and maximum durability. Their 4″ double wall stainless steel tips are available in various finishes and have depth adjustment for perfect fitment to meet the desired aesthetic.

Jet-Hot Ceramic Coat

• Black tips are ceramic coated with Jet-Hot for maximum bonding strength, reduced heat soak, and increased finish durability. For those seeking something unique, custom logos and colors are available upon request.

Bolt-On & Go

• Each exhaust component is built and tested in a thick gauge aluminum fixture to prevent warping and ensure perfect fitment. Every piece undergoes rigorous quality checks prior to shipping and is then foam packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Notes

• Due to the close proximity of the exhaust to sensitive components and plastic, heat shields are essential. Soul Performance has heard reports of GM discussing potential issues related to heat from modified exhausts with dealers and has taken every precaution to implement heat shielding into every solution. They have partnered with PTP Turbo Blankets to produce a bespoke, form-fitting heat shielding solution. Far superior to no-name brand copies, PTP Lava Turbo Blankets feature an outer layer made from pulverized volcanic lava rock (rated 1800°F direct heat / 2500°F radiant heat) formed into fabric and woven into a tight mesh weave.
