Hand-built in England since 1979 from aerospace-grade T304 stainless steel, every system carries the coachbuilt expertise that has made QuickSilver an original-equipment partner to marques including Aston Martin. Its Sound Architect valve control places two distinct characters at your fingertips: a refined, unobtrusive calm for the long journey, and a full-blooded performance note the instant the mood takes you. Design and Performance

We found that the original manifolds & Sport Cats are very hard to improve on – unless you wish to remove the Sport Cats altogether, which would have further issues. The rear silencer is the easiest to change but the OE design is also pretty hard to beat. It is light and has an impressive internal design that allows two paths, loud & quiet. This component also includes a built-in balance to promote the shriek at 9000 rpm. QuickSilver used to list a pipe assembly to replace the rear silencer but have now deleted it. We liaise with Porsche Motorsport in the UK and learned that, in Europe, the various Carrera Cup vehicles all run the OE rear silencer – it works extremely well, it is light enough (until last year they were using the Titanium version from the RS but this year have reverted to the stainless version as the weight saving was only a couple of pounds), it forms part of the rear crash-zone (regularly used on race vehicles) and is easy & relatively cheap to replace. *This system does not fit the 991.2 with OPF filters In our testing, we found that the best result came from replacing the OE side mufflers with a tube assembly that incorporates original-type valves – The benefits are: With this option and the valves open, the exhaust is basically straight-pipe. Sounds fabulous…. Aggressive and sharp with all the crackles and you can turn it down when required.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
