The Öhlins Road and Track coilovers for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, 8, and 9 (2001-2007) are built for the driver who uses their EVO for both. During the week, the system keeps the CT9A composed and controlled on imperfect roads without the harshness that comes with most performance-grade coilovers. At the track, 34-click adjustable damping, adjustable ride height, and application-specific tuning give the driver real tools to work with. Dual Flow Valve Technology
The Dual Flow Valve (DFV) is the defining feature of the Öhlins Road and Track system and the main reason it performs as well on the street as it does at the track. The DFV allows for transformed chassis control while maintaining a refined ride quality that neither the factory setup nor most aftermarket alternatives can match. It manages low and high speed compression and rebound damping together in a way that keeps the tires loaded and working across a wider range of surfaces, including rough road sections and on-track curbing. On the CT9A platform, where AWD traction management rewards consistent tire contact, the DFV makes a meaningful difference in both safety margins and lap times.
Damping and Ride Height Adjustment
Each damper is individually adjustable across 34 clicks of damping, covering the full range from a comfortable street setting to a firm track tune without any hardware changes. The front uses an inverted MacPherson monotube strut with a ride height and spring preload adjuster, targeting approximately 15mm of reduction from stock at OE settings. The rear is also ride height adjustable with adjuster hardware included. Front and rear spring rates are 90 N/mm each, fitted with Eibach ERS coil springs at both ends. Spherical bearing top mounts with camber adjustment are included up front, and spherical bearing top mounts are included at the rear. Dust boots protect the working cylinder up front and the piston shaft at the rear.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
