Moshammer Front Spoiler for 997.2 Porsche 911 Carrera

Moshammer Front Spoiler is drawn for the standard 997.2 Carrera bumper, which is the nose most of these cars actually wear and the one aftermarket makers most often skip. Moshammer’s approach here is pure OEM+: optimal aerodynamic properties from the profile itself, a design element that looks like it came out of Zuffenhausen, and no attempt to make a Carrera pretend to be a GT3. It is supplied unpainted with the mounting material, so it can be finished in body colour for restraint or in satin black for a defined shadow line under the nose. A TUV parts certificate (§19.3) comes with the part, and fitting uses the original screw points with special adhesive where Moshammer specifies it. Made to order in Berlin in small numbers, for owners keeping a late 997 exactly as sharp as it should be.

By the 997.2 the standard Carrera bumper had become a genuinely handsome piece of design, which raises rather than lowers the bar for anything added to it. How do I know I have the standard bumper? Aerokit, GTS, Turbo, GT2 and GT3 bumpers have deeper, more sculpted lower sections than the standard Carrera bumper. If there is any doubt, contact us with a photo of the front of your car before ordering.
Does it fit a Carrera S or 4S? Yes, provided the car wears the standard front bumper. Moshammer lists all 997.2 Carrera models with the standard bumper.
Why is it delivered unpainted? So the finish is yours to decide. Article P997.22.1020 ships unpainted with mounting material, which lets a painter match your exact code or apply a contrasting colour.
Is the installation permanent? It uses the original screw points and, when needed, a special adhesive. That means no cutting or drilling of new holes is specified, though adhesive should be treated as a long term fitting.
Does it come with German paperwork? Yes, a TUV parts certificate (§19.3) is supplied with the spoiler, useful documentation to keep with the car regardless of where it is registered.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
