The SOUL Performance Macan Muffler Bypass Exhaust replaces the factory rear muffler section on the Macan S, GTS, and Turbo, the part of the exhaust holding back the Macan’s note under all that factory sound deadening. In its place is a clamp-on, mandrel-bent 2.5″ straight pipe finished with race resonators, delivering a refined increase in shift barks, burble, and engine tone while keeping drone in check. This is a bolt on and go install, and every SOUL Performance component is backed by an industry-leading Lifetime Warranty for both street and track use.

Construction

Each set of muffler bypass pipes is built in-house from mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065″ T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity. Straight-through race resonators use a full metal packing design for maximum durability. We fabricate using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures, which act as an effective heat sink during welding and prevent warping of both the product and the fixtures themselves, ensuring perfect fitment. Installation requires cutting the original exhaust at a factory break point (marked with a dimple), which allows for reinstallation of the factory system if necessary. Each system is quality checked, then foam packed to arrive in perfect condition, with thorough installation instructions included for a straightforward install most DIY enthusiasts can complete.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
