J’s Racing’s Type-GT Front Fin for AP1 and AP2 S2000s is a carbon flow plate from the Type-GT wide body aero system, developed in Osaka by a company that has built nothing but Honda parts since 1989. It handles three jobs: settling the turbulence the front tires kick up, straightening the air coming off the front underside, and helping the hot air leaving the engine bay exit cleanly. It replaces a damaged or missing fin on a car already built with the Type-GT kit, and is not intended for a standard-width body.

Design and Performance

A front tire spinning inside a wide fender throws off swirling air, and on the Type-GT body that air meets both the flow from under the nose and heat venting from the engine compartment. The fin organizes those streams so they leave the car in a more orderly way. That is its role in the Type-GT package, alongside the wide front fenders and side steps it is designed to work with.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
