J’s Racing Tsuchinoko Chamber for Late CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s Tsuchinoko Chamber for Late CL7 Accord Euro R cars takes its air from inside the front bumper and routes it through the fender. A bulkhead plate turns the inside of the fender into a large-volume intake box, delivering ram air to a large-diameter filter that sits with the chamber under a heat shield cover. Developed over about a year for the CL7 alone, it beat both the factory box and an aftermarket cleaner for torque in back-to-back dyno runs on one stock car. It is for late Euro R owners chasing measured gains rather than intake noise.

Development and Testing

The dyno comparison was deliberately run without a fan blowing into the intake, so it measured the chamber on its own merits; J’s Racing expects more power and torque at speed, where the bumper duct is fed by moving air.
