J’s Racing’s Tsuchinoko Chamber for DC2 Integra Type R swaps the factory intake for the Osaka company’s own air chamber, a shape developed with intake efficiency as the first priority. J’s Racing claims a large torque gain in the middle and upper rev range from the swap alone, along with markedly better cylinder filling. Inside, a layered natural cotton filter provides a very large filtering area and is backed by aluminum mesh so intake vacuum cannot pull it out of shape. Two shells are offered: carbon FRP that gives the engine bay a stripped, racy look, or black gelcoat FRP. It suits a B18C owner chasing response higher in the revs, but J’s Racing excludes Type R cars fitted with ABS.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
