What do I need to buy with the R304 Exhaust 60RS for CL7 cars?

Four Type A reinforced muffler bushes are required for the R304 Exhaust 60RS for CL7 cars and are sold separately. An inner silencer is optional; the manufacturer specifies its FX-PRO inner silencer for this system if you want a lower volume for daily driving.

How does the R304 compare with the FX-PRO titanium exhaust?

Both use the same full straight-through concept and the same style of cut-bend titanium dolphin tail. The R304 builds the pipes and silencer from SUS304 stainless instead of titanium, which brings the price down considerably while keeping the hand-welded quality and sound character.

What does the stainless exhaust sound like?

At high rpm it produces the smooth, rising high-pitched tone typical of stainless steel, and on track the note becomes sharp and urgent. When VTEC switches to the high cam, the exhaust gives a sudden, popping crack, the moment the manufacturer singles out as the signature of this system.

Will it hurt low-end torque?

No. The 60mm main pipe is sized to emphasize the mid and high rev range without sacrificing the low end, and the manufacturer says the extra torque improves throttle response, so the car feels more eager in everyday town driving as well as on track.

Why might my exhaust show small marks?

The manufacturing process can leave faint jig marks on the stainless, and the tail color is applied by hand, so each exhaust looks slightly different from the photos. These marks are a normal result of the way each exhaust is built and finished by hand.

Description

J’s Racing R304 Exhaust 60RS for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s R304 Exhaust 60RS for CL7 Accord Euro R owners is the semi-titanium route into a J’s Racing exhaust: the brand’s full straight-through layout built in SUS304 stainless and finished with a titanium cut-bend dolphin tail borrowed from the FX-PRO. The 60mm main pipe favors mid and high revs without giving away the bottom end, and the added torque sharpens throttle response, so the K20A feels lively even around town. Every weld is TIG welded by hand. It suits an owner who wants J’s Racing sound and craftsmanship at well under the price of full titanium.

Design and Performance

J’s Racing uses 1.2mm SUS304 for the main pipe and 1.0mm for the silencer, then trims weight further with very thin flanges to help the car’s agility on track. Revved out, the stainless body gives a clean, rising high note that turns sharp on a circuit, and VTEC engagement brings a distinct crack as the high cam takes over.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
