JCR Valved Superlight Race Exhaust System & Manifold Assembly for 992 Porsche 911 GT3, GT3 RS, GT3 Touring, and S/T

The JCR Valved Superlight Race Exhaust System & Manifold Assembly for the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 series and S/T is an all-encompassing performance upgrade that replaces the entire OEM exhaust system. The system features a valved design that retains the factory valve control, allowing for a quieter sound at lower speeds and an aggressive, “RSR” tone at high RPMs. It is available in two configurations — with Race Silencers, for track-day compliance, or with Silencer Deletes, for maximum sound and weight reduction. Crafted from a combination of lightweight titanium and Inconel, the system significantly reduces weight — by up to 17.33kg — and delivers substantial gains in horsepower and torque, with up to 26hp and 36tq. The exhaust requires specific JCR tips to complete the system, with options including Titanium Race Megaphone (raw or black coated) or Inconel Race Rolled (polished or black coated) finishes.

Inconel Race Manifolds

JCR’s Inconel Race Exhaust Manifolds are engineered for uncompromising performance using lightweight, heat-resistant Inconel 625. These manifolds provide sound control without restricting exhaust flow. By removing factory limitations, they deliver a sharper throttle response, enhanced mid-range torque, and a more aggressive, race-inspired sound.

Silencer Version

Race Silencers: JCR’s Inconel Race Silencer features a high-flow 200-cell HJS core. As a result, flow is greatly increased, and improved performance follows. For cars with no OPF monitoring, JCR’s Race Silencers will in most cases not cause any CEL and do not require any tuning. In certain instances, it’s still possible for a CEL to occur. This tends to happen if the car has poor fuel quality or excess load is applied before the engine and exhaust system are up to full operating temperature. With this in mind, JCR does not guarantee that there is no chance of a CEL with these parts installed.
Silencer Deletes: With JCR’s Inconel Silencer Delete, the factory restrictive assembly is removed entirely for maximum performance and sound.

Light Weight

Through the use of lightweight materials and clever design, JCR has managed to significantly reduce the overall weight of the factory 992 exhaust components. While any weight reduction is beneficial in a performance vehicle, the gains are exaggerated on this platform, as reducing the rear-biased weight distribution helps to improve overall balance and handling. JCR’s most extreme exhaust solution for this platform drops over 21kg of weight from behind the rear axle, yielding real performance benefits on its own.

Direct Replacement

All of JCR’s 992 Superlight Race Exhaust Systems are a 100% direct replacement for the OEM exhaust system. No further work is required during installation beyond removing the OEM part and replacing it with its JCR equivalent along with any supplied hardware.

Valved Design

JCR’s valved version of the center section retains factory valve control through the exhaust button and / or mode switch, giving the driver the ability to quieten the car when cruising at lower speeds. When the valves open, the sound level is similar to JCR’s Non-Silenced system due to the lack of silencing in the open valve route. All of the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems feature a tuned merge for an improved exhaust scavenging effect and a smoother, more pleasant tone.

OEM Valve Control

The valved version of JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust System retains the factory valve switching functionality for a more subtle sound while cruising and at lower speeds. Owners can simply replace the factory valve motor actuator onto the JCR valve section, and the exhaust will function as per OEM, with full control over the valve position via the exhaust button and mode switches.

RSR Sound

At the top end of the rpm range, JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust System configurations deliver the well-known “RSR” sound that enthusiasts love.

Power Increase & Real World Performance Improvements

Every component of the JCR Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve horsepower and torque, with the degree of improvement depending on the specific combination of parts. JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust Systems will see gains up to 26hp and 36tq, along with significant improvements in engine response and mid-range punch. Optimizing the manifold design not only brings a hard-edged race car sound but also drastically improves flow, resulting in increased HP and TQ while reducing temperatures significantly during hard driving on the road or track. JCR found that the latest generation of normally aspirated OPF-equipped vehicles has a strong tendency to significantly reduce power output on longer runs due to excessive heat buildup. Along with outright improved performance comes much improved consistency and even larger performance gains on longer track sessions versus the OEM exhaust system.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
