The JCR Titanium Superlight Center Bypass Section for the 997 and 991 Porsche 911 GT3, GT3 RS, GT3 RS 4.0, GT3 Touring, and R is engineered to deliver significant weight savings, improved flow, and an unmistakable motorsport tone. The section is constructed entirely from ultra-lightweight titanium, it replaces the factory center muffler with a free-flowing 70mm design that reduces rear-end mass for sharper handling and increased responsiveness. The precision merge section optimizes exhaust scavenging for enhanced horsepower and torque, while producing a rich, aggressive sound inspired by Porsche’s factory race cars. Designed as a direct replacement, it retains compatibility with OEM or aftermarket tips using the factory-style connection.

Light Weight

Through the use of thinner wall material and the same superlight exhaust tip flange featured on the JCR Race Exhaust System, JCR has created the lightest center bypass product available today. Weighing 6.08kg (13.4lbs) less than the OEM center muffler, this reduction in mass is not only beneficial overall but also delivers substantial improvements in handling balance by removing weight rearward of the 911’s rear axle.

The Design

Extensive testing and development of the JCR Race Exhaust System allowed JCR to achieve measurable gains in horsepower and torque while producing a smooth, exotic exhaust tone. The JCR Titanium Superlight Centre Bypass incorporates new routing with a transition from the factory 63mm diameter pipe to 70mm over a smooth taper, merging into the same precision-designed collector used in the Race Exhaust System. Its 100% modular design ensures it is a direct replacement for the factory center silencer.

RSR Style Sound

By integrating key design elements from the Titanium Race Exhaust System, JCR has replicated that same distinctive RSR-style tone in the Titanium Superlight Centre Bypass. As with the Race Exhaust System, the sound must truly be heard to be appreciated.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
