The JCR Titanium Side Silencer Bypass Sections for 997 / 991 Porsche 911 GT3, GT3 RS, GT3 RS 4.0, GT3 Touring, and R provide a precision-engineered, lightweight upgrade designed to replace the factory side silencers. Crafted entirely from high-grade titanium, these sections deliver substantial weight savings while improving exhaust flow and sharpening throttle response. Offered in both Valved and Non-Valved configurations, the system allows owners to tailor sound levels and backpressure to their preference, whether aiming for maximum volume and performance or maintaining a more versatile setup. The modular v-band design ensures quick installation and easy interchangeability between configurations, making it ideal for both street and track applications.

Light Weight

Due to their 100% titanium construction, JCR’s Side Silencer Bypass products achieve a significant weight reduction at the rear of the vehicle. Any reduction in weight is beneficial, but decreasing mass behind the 911’s rear axle can greatly improve handling balance, making this a true performance gain. Weighing over 17.48kg (38.54lbs) less than the OEM side silencers, these are the lightest options available.

Valve or not to valve?

JCR offers multiple configurations for the Titanium Side Silencer Bypass, with both Valved and Non-Valved versions available.
- JCR Titanium Valved Side Silencer Bypass: The Valved version combines a full titanium main body with a precision-engineered titanium valve section, adding only a minimal weight increase compared to the Non-Valved option.
- JCR Titanium Non-Valved Side Silenced Bypass: The Non-Valved version features a 100% titanium build with a V-banded titanium section, referred to by JCR as the Titanium Valve Delete Section.

Upgradability

The modular design of the Side Silencer Bypass allows owners to convert a non-valved version to a valved configuration by adding the Titanium Valve Section. Likewise, a valved version can be converted to non-valved by installing the Titanium Valve Delete Section. This approach provides flexibility, enabling configuration changes quickly and cost-effectively without replacing the entire assembly.

OEM Style Twin Entry

Unlike many aftermarket side silencer replacements, which block the uppermost entry point of the OEM center silencer and direct all exhaust gases through the lower section, JCR retains the OEM-style twin entry design. This prevents unwanted pressure differentials that can lead to reduced silencer lifespan or cracking, ensuring both reliability and performance are maintained.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
