The JCR Inconel Race Exhaust Manifold & Link Pipe Assembly for the 982 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, Spyder, Cayman GT4, and GTS 4.0 are designed to optimize the performance of the 4.0L flat-six engine. The Inconel Race Exhaust Manifolds, made from high-performance Inconel 625, feature equal-length primaries and optimized collector dimensions to maximize exhaust flow and reduce backpressure, resulting in a gain of approximately 38 horsepower and 34lb-ft of torque. They also reduce weight by over 10.5lbs, improving vehicle dynamics. Paired with either the Inconel Silenced Link Pipes or the Titanium Non-Silenced Link Pipes, this assembly delivers a seamless fit and easy installation. The Inconel Silenced Link Pipes reduce noise at lower speeds while enhancing the exhaust tone when the valves are open, maintaining emissions compliance and preventing check engine lights. The Titanium Non-Silenced Link Pipes, on the other hand, replace the factory OPF system, improving exhaust flow, throttle response, and delivering a race-inspired exhaust note. Both options provide a significant performance boost, an aggressive sound, and an overall exhilarating driving experience.

Direct Replacement / Modular Fitment

The JCR Inconel Race Manifolds and Link Pipes are a complete direct replacement for the OEM 718 GT4 and Spyder manifolds and OPF pipes, requiring no fabrication or additional parts. Simply remove the factory manifolds and OPF pipes, and replace them with the JCR Inconel Race Manifolds and Link Pipes. This combination is supplied with all necessary hardware, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free installation.

Heat Management

Each of the JCR Link Pipe options comes equipped with the highest quality thermal protection as standard. The selected heat shielding is used in the highest levels of motorsport to control temperatures and significantly reduce the effects of radiant heat on surrounding areas. Extensive testing was performed on track, with and without thermal protection, showing a consistent reduction of 15-20°C in inner rear tire temperatures. This temperature reduction provides a real-world performance advantage over an OPF delete without thermal protection.

Silenced Link Pipes

The JCR Inconel Silenced Link Pipes offer all the benefits of the standard Non-Silenced Titanium Link Pipes, with the added advantage of a reduction in dB levels and a 200-cell HJS Race Cat. This allows for horsepower and torque gains while keeping exhaust volume only slightly above the factory OPF pipes, ensuring emissions compliance. These link pipes are an ideal choice for track cars with strict noise limits and street cars that require functional catalytic converters.

Light Weight

Thanks to their 100% Inconel / Titanium construction, the JCR Inconel Race Manifolds and Link Pipes significantly reduce the weight of the factory exhaust system, providing a notable performance improvement. This modification offers a true win-win benefit.

Power Increase

Every component in the JCR Exhaust line is guaranteed to increase horsepower and torque, with varying results depending on the part combination. The most extreme free-flowing system installed on the 718 GT4 / Spyder / GTS 4.0 can yield gains of up to +52.40whp and +47.00wtq (60.26hp / 54.05tq), along with notable improvements in engine response and mid-range torque. Removing the highly restrictive factory cats not only gives the car a hard-edged race car sound but also drastically improves flow, resulting in increased horsepower and torque.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
