Learning Process

• Unlike the 996 Turbo, the 997 Turbo requires an “adaptation” period, which can be achieved through either a series of hard pulls on the dyno or 10 to 50 miles of aggressive driving. IPD recommends that this be performed exclusively on a closed circuit race track.
• The 997 Turbo features an extremely sensitive ECU/DME, making it highly susceptible to external environmental corrections. Therefore, it is essential to ensure proper, adequate, and consistent cooling when dyno testing any 997 Turbo in order to obtain accurate and reliable results, both before and after each test.
