SOUL Performance Sport Headers for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera
The SOUL Performance Sport Headers for the 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera give the 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six a cleaner, faster path into the turbochargers, trading the factory’s restrictive double-wall manifolds for free-flowing single-wall headers. SOUL builds every set in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, from thick-wall T304L stainless, with laser-cut flanges, mandrel-bent tubing, and back-purged TIG welds, then proves the fit on machined aluminum fixtures before it ships. The payoff is quicker boost response and a stronger midrange that holds to redline, a sharper exhaust note with more burbles and pops between shifts, and 5.4 pounds off the back of the engine, all without giving up ground clearance. For the 991.2 owner chasing response and sound in equal measure, this is a precise, bolt-on upgrade backed for life.
Design and Flow
SOUL sized the runners and 3-into-1 merge collectors to keep exhaust velocity high on the way into the turbochargers, and opened the header outlet wider than the factory turbo inlet so the hot side breathes more freely. Swapping the factory double-wall manifold for a single-wall design sharpens the exhaust note and lets more of the turbo’s character through, and the set is packaged to leave the car’s ground clearance unchanged.
Construction
Every set is built in-house in the USA from thick-wall T304L stainless steel, with laser-cut flanges, mandrel-bent tubing, and back-purged TIG welds laid under ARCAL Prime argon for clean, strong joints. SOUL assembles each header on machined aluminum fixtures that hold everything true during welding, then test-fits and foam-packs it with new high-grade hardware and OEM Porsche gaskets in the box.
Power and Sound
On a Mustang dyno at Apex, with a Stage 2 tune and SOUL’s supporting exhaust already on the car, the headers added up to roughly 12 whp and 20 lb-ft, gains that come in quickly and hold to redline, and a dedicated custom tune takes further advantage of the extra flow. Through the pipes, the single-wall design lets the flat-six speak with more edge: sharper pops between shifts, more burble on a trailing throttle, and more volume in the sport modes, without the constant drone that makes a car tiring to live with.
Features
Quicker boost response and a stronger midrange that pulls hard to redline

New high-grade hardware and OEM Porsche gaskets included for a clean install
Direct bolt-on with no loss of ground clearance
Backed by the SOUL Lifetime Warranty for the original owner, street and track
Designed and assembled in the USA

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the SOUL Performance Sport Headers fit every 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera? Yes. They fit the 991.2 Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4 and 4S, the Carrera GTS and 4 GTS, and the Carrera T, all running the 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six from 2017 to 2019. They are not for the earlier 991.1 or the 991.2 Turbo, so confirm your model before ordering.
Do these headers include catalytic converters or change my emissions system? No. The SOUL Performance Sport Headers mount ahead of the turbochargers, so they are not part of the emissions hardware. The factory catalytic converters sit downstream in the rest of the exhaust and stay in place, which is why the headers improve flow into the turbos without touching the car’s emissions system.
How much power do they add? On SOUL’s own Mustang-dyno testing the headers added up to roughly 12 whp and 20 lb-ft, measured on a tuned Carrera already running supporting exhaust modifications. The gains come in quickly and hold to redline, and a custom tune can take further advantage of the added flow.
How do they change the sound? They give the twin-turbo flat-six a sharper, more urgent note with more burbles and pops on shifts and deceleration, plus extra volume in the sport modes. The single-wall design is the reason, and SOUL tuned it to add character without constant highway drone.
Is an ECU tune required? No. The headers bolt on and flow better on a stock tune, but they reach their measured gains on a Stage 2 or custom tune, which is how SOUL tested them. Most owners chasing the full benefit pair the headers with a tune and supporting exhaust.
Is professional installation recommended? Yes. The headers are a direct bolt-on, but the job involves working around the turbochargers and can be slow on the driver’s side, so a lift and an experienced installer make for the cleanest result and a proper seal.

Shipping Policy
-+
Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
