What is the 11 in this part number?

In this position it describes the lower end, not the top. It stands for the two 8mm lower rings Injector Dynamics uses for the WRX STi side feed conversion rail. The top is a grey 14mm adapter on a 48mm body, so the set only suits cars running that rail.

Does this set fit an STi with the factory rail?

No. This configuration is built for the side feed conversion rail, and its lower rings suit that rail. An STi on its original rail needs the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for its model year, such as the 11mm top and WRX-16B bottom adapter set for 2007 to 2020 cars.

Can the ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set run on E85 with a side feed rail?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set is rated for ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels. Each injector flows 1728cc per minute at 3.0 bar, and E85 needs about a third more fuel volume than gasoline, so the pump must be sized with the injectors.

Is a new calibration needed?

Yes. The ECU must be told the flow rate, offset and short pulse behavior of the 1750, and Injector Dynamics publishes that characterization data for your tuner. A rail conversion and new injectors together change fueling enough that the old calibration cannot be used.

How does the warranty work?

The injectors carry a one year Injector Dynamics warranty from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided they run the correct fuel with proper filtration. The four are flow matched, so a single replacement comes through Injector Dynamics, which also provides cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for Subaru WRX STi Side-Feed Conversion Rail

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the Subaru WRX STi side-feed conversion rail combines four 1728cc/min injectors on 48mm bodies with grey 14mm top adapters and a pair of 8mm lower rings on each injector to suit that rail. It belongs on an STi already running, or about to run, a side-feed conversion rail for a big-turbo or E85 build. Without that rail the set does not apply, and a stock STi would not use the flow anyway.

Configuration

The 11 in the lower position of this part number stands for the two 8mm lower rings used with the STi side-feed conversion rail, not an 11mm top. The body is 48mm long and the top is a grey 14mm adapter.

Each injector has a USCAR plug and no adapters come with the set; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
For cars fitted with the STi side-feed conversion rail; the lower rings do not suit the factory rail
An ECU recalibration with the Injector Dynamics characterization data is required
Also offered as the ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the STi SFC rail and the ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the STi SFC rail

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
