Which 2JZ-GE engines does this set fit?

Injector Dynamics lists it for Toyota and Lexus 2JZ-GE engines fitted with the air-assist intake manifold. It lists the 1993 to 1998 Supra NA 2JZ-GE under a separate configuration with a Denso lower cushion, so confirm which manifold your engine carries before ordering.

How much fuel does the ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector Set supply?

Each injector in the ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector Set is rated at 1065cc per minute at 3 bar on gasoline at 52C, and the set handles up to 10 bar differential pressure. Have your tuner confirm that six cover your boost, fuel and power target.

Can I run E85 or methanol through these injectors?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the 1050 for all known fuels and built it with corrosion resistant internals for long service on alcohol. E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline for the same power, so a 2JZ-GE switching to ethanol needs its pump, lines and calibration sized for that extra flow too.

Can I fit these to the car and keep my current tune?

No. A calibration written for the old injectors will deliver the wrong amount of fuel with these fitted, at idle as well as under load. Your tuner needs to load the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1050-XDS, covering flow, offset and short pulse behavior, before the car is driven hard.

If one 2JZ-GE injector fails, can I replace only that one?

Yes, through Injector Dynamics. The six 2JZ-GE injectors are flow matched, so a single replacement has to be supplied by the maker to keep the group consistent. Warranty runs one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, on condition that the correct fuel and proper filtration were used, and Injector Dynamics can also clean, inspect and flow test used injectors in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector Set for Toyota and Lexus 2JZ-GE with Air-Assist Manifold

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the 2JZ-GE with an air-assist intake manifold gives the non-turbo Toyota and Lexus inline-six six 1065cc/min injectors in the configuration that manifold needs. Injector Dynamics gives the air-assist version its own application code, 30.02, so the manifold on the engine decides which set is right. Left naturally aspirated, a 2JZ-GE has no use for this much fuel. The set suits an engine being turbocharged or moved to E85, with a 10 bar pressure limit and the low-flow control that keeps idle tidy on gasoline.

Configuration

Read the part number as application 30.02, a 60mm body and an 11mm top, in a set of six.

Features

Built with Bosch Motorsport to Injector Dynamics specification
Rated for all known fuels, including ethanol and methanol
About five percent more flow than the ID1000, with its low-flow behavior retained
Six injectors flow matched together, each with a replaceable inlet filter

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm
Application code: 30.02, 2JZ-GE with air-assist manifold

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors configured for the 2JZ-GE air-assist manifold (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS Fuel Injector Set in this configuration for:

Lexus: 2JZ-GE with air-assist manifold
Toyota: 2JZ-GE with air-assist manifold

Notes

For 2JZ-GE engines with the air-assist intake manifold; Injector Dynamics lists the 1993-1998 Supra NA 2JZ-GE under a separate configuration with a Denso lower cushion
The injectors carry USCAR connectors, so Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, which are not included; the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter covers Denso plugs
Also offered for the same engine in the Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the 2JZ-GE Air-Assist Manifold
The engine must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
