Do the VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs require the front lift system?

Yes. The manufacturer lists part 23019-1 for the Huracan with adaptive suspension and the front lift system, and the German parent company states that the system requires the front axle lift and suits vehicles with factory adaptive dampers only. Check that your car carries both options before ordering, because this kit is not specified for cars without them.

Will they work with the factory adaptive dampers?

Yes. The manufacturer states that the VTF system is designed to work with original equipment electronic shocks, and that the original shock absorbers, including all electronic control functions, are retained along with the standard hardness adjustment. The kit replaces only the spring and the rigid spring plate, so the factory dampers stay on the car.

How much can I lower the Huracan?

The manufacturer lists the VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs at 0.20 to 1.0 inch lower at the front, which is 5 to 25mm, and 0.60 to 1.4 inches lower at the rear, which is 15 to 35mm. The threaded adjusters set the height at each axle. The actual result varies with the options fitted to the car.

What is the difference between VTF and the Sport Springs?

The Sport Springs give one fixed drop, about 0.80 inch front and rear on the Huracan. The VTF system adds threaded adjusters so the ride height is set by the owner within the listed ranges. Both keep the factory adaptive dampers. The Sport Springs cost less; the VTF system suits owners who want to set rake themselves.

Is an alignment needed after installation?

Yes. The manufacturer advises that alignment should be checked after any change to suspension ride height, and with an adjustable system that applies after every later height change too. It also recommends measuring from the wheel center to the fender lip before and after installation to confirm the drop at each corner.

What warranty comes with the springs?

The manufacturer warrants its springs for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle, against defects in material and workmanship other than coatings. The warranty requires installation by a qualified licensed mechanic and excludes racing, rallying and off road use. The manufacturer describes the VTF range as carrying a limited lifetime warranty.

Description

H&R VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs for LB724 Lamborghini Huracan AWD

H&R’s VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs for LB724 Lamborghini Huracan AWD give the Huracan a lower stance you choose yourself, from 0.20in to 1.0in at the front and 0.60in to 1.4in at the rear, while the factory adaptive dampers stay on the car and keep every electronic function. That combination is the point. A coilover conversion gives up the Huracan’s magnetorheological damping; the VTF system replaces only the rigid spring plate with a threaded adjuster, so the dampers still respond to the drive modes as Lamborghini intended. H&R builds the system in Germany with TUV approval. It is specified for cars with the front lift system and adaptive suspension, and it is the right choice for an owner who wants to tune rake and stance rather than accept one fixed drop.

Design and Performance

H&R’s threaded adjustment units take the place of the rigid spring plate on each factory damper, so ride height is adjusted continuously rather than in steps, while the original shock absorbers keep their electronic control and hardness adjustment. The ranges differ by axle, giving room to set a slight forward rake or a level car. Every height change moves the alignment, so the geometry should be checked after installation and again after any later adjustment, and H&R asks for at least 5mm of clearance between the tire and the suspension or body at full lock and full travel.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
