How much do the Sport Springs for LB724 Huracans lower the car?

The manufacturer lists the drop at approximately 0.80 inch at both the front and the rear, which is about 20mm. Because the drop is the same at each axle, the car keeps its factory rake. The exact figure varies with the options fitted to the car, so measure from the wheel center to the fender lip before and after installation.

Do I need the front lift system?

Yes, for this part number. The manufacturer lists 28689-2 for the Huracan with adaptive suspension and the front lift system, and lists 28689-1 for cars with adaptive suspension but without the front lift. Check the build of your car before ordering, because the two kits are not interchangeable between those specifications.

Will the adaptive dampers still work?

Yes. The Sport Springs for LB724 Huracans replace only the springs, and the manufacturer lists this kit specifically for cars with adaptive suspension. The factory dampers stay on the car, so their electronic control and the drive mode damping settings continue to operate as they did before the springs were changed.

Does the front lift keep working after lowering?

This version is built for cars equipped with the front lift system, which stays on the car. The manufacturer does not publish a lifted ride height figure after lowering, so if the lift is relied on for steep driveways or ramps, confirm the clearance you need with the manufacturer before ordering.

Is an alignment needed after installing the springs?

Yes. The manufacturer advises that alignment should be checked after any change to suspension ride height, and a 20mm drop at both axles changes camber and toe. It also notes that bump stop trimming is generally not needed unless the technical sheet supplied in the box says otherwise.

Should I choose these or the VTF system?

Choose the Sport Springs for one fixed drop of about 0.80 inch at a lower price. Choose the VTF system if you want to set the ride height yourself, from 0.20 to 1.0 inch at the front and 0.60 to 1.4 inches at the rear. Both keep the factory adaptive dampers and both require the front lift system.

Description

H&R Sport Springs for LB724 Lamborghini Huracan AWD with Front Lift System

H&R’s Sport Springs for LB724 Lamborghini Huracan AWD with Front Lift System take about 0.80in, roughly 20mm, out of the ride height at both axles, closing the wheel-arch gap evenly so the car keeps its factory rake. They are a spring swap that leaves the factory adaptive dampers in place, and with them the drive-mode damping, which makes them the least invasive way to lower a Huracan. The -2 part number matters: it is H&R’s version for cars fitted with the front lift system, and a separate kit covers cars without it. H&R builds the springs in Germany and finishes them in epoxy powder coat. For owners who want to set the height themselves, the VTF system is the adjustable alternative; for everyone else, one fixed, proven drop is the simpler answer.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
