Is the hot side pipe included in the Charge Pipe Kit for Honda Accord 2.0T cars?

No. This set contains the two cold side pieces only, the one-piece upper pipe and the cold side extension, with couplers, clamps and instructions. HPS sells the hot side pipe on its own and inside its three-piece Charge Pipe Kit for Honda Accord models, which Bulletproof Automotive lists separately.

Which Accord trims and years does it fit?

HPS lists the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Honda Accord with the 2.0L turbo engine, in EX-L, Sport and Touring trims. HPS does not list the 1.5L turbo Accord for this part number, so owners should confirm which engine their car has before ordering.

How much power does it make?

HPS recorded 16 wheel horsepower and 24 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm with the upper cold side pipe, part number 17-124, plus quicker throttle response without re-tuning the ECU. HPS has not published a separate dyno result with the extension added to the upper pipe.

Does the kit trigger a check engine light?

No. HPS states that the kit does not trigger a check engine light, needs no modification during installation and does not require an ECU retune. It installs with the supplied reinforced silicone hoses, stainless steel embossed clamps and step-by-step instructions.

How hard is installation?

HPS rates the upper cold side pipe at 3 out of 5 for difficulty, about 1 to 2 hours with a basic mechanics tool set, and says it requires some mechanical experience. HPS includes an illustrated manual but gives no separate time estimate for fitting the extension as well.

Description

HPS Two-Piece Cold Side Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit for Honda Accord 2.0L Turbo

HPS’s Two-Piece Cold Side Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit for Honda Accord 2.0L Turbo pairs the one-piece HPS upper pipe with its matching cold side extension, covering both cold side sections HPS makes for the 2018-2022 Accord 2.0T. The upper section replaces factory plastic pipe 17294-6B2-A01 with 2.5 inch, 16 gauge 6061 aluminum, and on its own HPS measured 16 wheel horsepower and 24 lb-ft at 3,500 rpm. Owners who want the cold side in black aluminum without touching the hot side are the natural fit.

Design and Performance

The cold side carries cooled, pressurized air from the intercooler toward the engine, and HPS swaps the factory plastic and rubber there for aluminum and reinforced silicone. Each pipe end is bead rolled so couplers do not pop off under boost, and stainless steel embossed clamps hold every joint. The set stops short of the hot side, so an owner who wants that pipe renewed as well should look at the three-piece HPS kit instead.

Features

Upper cold side pipe and cold side extension supplied together
Upper pipe is a single piece in place of the factory plastic pipe and rubber boots

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
