HKS has expanded the LA Clutch Series to include the Toyota 86  and Subaru BRZ. Designed to complement the GT Supercharger Kit, the clutch offers a torque capacity of 400Nm (41Kgm / 295lbft), supporting power levels up to approximately 295kW (400ps). This high-capacity single-plate clutch enables the full utilization of high-power 86/BRZ vehicles. In addition to superior torque capacity, the clutch balances lightweight construction and ease of operation, ensuring a natural feel and enhanced response for NA vehicles while facilitating quick shifting.

COMPOSITE DISC

• HKS’s “MG Composite Disc” combines metallic and fibrous materials to achieve an ideal balance of friction, heat resistance, strength, and durability. It provides smooth mid-level engagement for normal driving while ensuring no slip and quick response during circuit use. The low-inertia design minimizes synchro shock and enables fast, precise shifts.

PEDAL WEIGHT AND PRESSURE BALANCE

• HKS ensures that, despite the increased pressure needed to handle high torque levels, the clutch pedal maintains a heavy yet positive and responsive feel.

STRAP DRIVE MECHANISM

• HKS incorporates a Strap Drive Mechanism in the clutch cover to ensure clean and precise disengagement.
