Garrett PowerMax GT1752S Turbo Kit for 2021-present Ford Bronco and 2024-present Ranger 2.7L

Garrett’s PowerMax GT1752S Turbo Kit replaces both turbochargers on the 2.7L V6 in the 2021-present Ford Bronco and the 2024-present Ranger, and Garrett is the original turbo supplier for this engine. Garrett lists the factory engine at 330 horsepower and rates this kit at up to 640 horsepower, with 42 percent more compressor flow and 27 percent more turbine flow than the factory turbos. That spread is the point: a tuned 2.7L that has outgrown the stock turbos gets real headroom, while a truck that stays on its factory calibration gains little. It is the wrong kit for a Bronco Raptor, which uses the 3.0L and takes Garrett’s separate 3.0L kit.

Design

The compressor inducer grows from 34mm on the factory turbo to 41mm, and the turbine side runs in a stainless steel housing that Garrett rates to 950C (1742F). Both turbos come as complete assemblies with calibrated electric actuators, sized to the factory footprint. Each compressor housing has a fully machined port for a shaft speed sensor.
