Will the Fabspeed Sport Cats fit my GT350?

Yes. The Fabspeed Sport Cats fit the S550 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R from 2016 to 2020, with the 5.2-liter Voodoo V8. They are a direct replacement for the factory units on those cars. Confirm your model and year before ordering.

How much power do they add, and what do they sound like?

Fabspeed's dyno testing showed gains of 21 wheel horsepower at 7100 rpm and 27 ft-lbs of torque at 4700 rpm over stock, with no tune required. The sound opens up too: louder and higher-pitched as the Voodoo climbs, with more pronounced burbles on deceleration, and you can keep the factory muffler without adding highway drone.

What are the Fabspeed Sport Cats made from?

The Fabspeed Sport Cats use German-made HJS HD tri-metallic 200-cell Euro 6 high-flow cores in CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, developed with 3D scanning and CAD for a precise OEM fit. T304L resists heat and corrosion for the life of the car, and HJS is a long-established original-equipment emissions maker. Fabspeed backs them with a Lifetime Warranty.

Do they need a tune, and are they hard to install?

No tune is required. They are a direct bolt-on in the factory location with no cutting or welding, and they are designed to run without a check engine light, so a capable owner or any shop can fit them in a few hours. Many owners add a tune later for more, but it is not needed to run them.

Will they support more power later?

Yes. The high-flow HJS cores are rated to support well over 1200 horsepower, so they leave plenty of headroom for a built or forced-induction GT350. On a stock Voodoo they simply free up flow and sound without becoming a restriction down the road.

Are they CARB approved or street legal?

No. These sport cats are not CARB approved and are not for sale in California or other states that require CARB certification, and no assessment has been made regarding EPA anti-tampering compliance. The buyer is responsible for confirming what is legal in their area before installing.

Description

Fabspeed Sport Cats for S550 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 & GT350R

The addition of high-flowing sport cats significantly enhances the power, tone, and sound of the vehicle, offering unrestricted flow. Equipped with 200 cell sport cats, the exhaust note becomes louder, embodying a much more raw sound. The higher frequency tones are sharpened, and the deceleration burbles become more robust and transparent. While the volume is not overbearing, the sound becomes aggressively pronounced at wide open throttle, with no drone whatsoever when the stock muffler is retained.

Power

Through extensive dyno development, it was discovered that utilizing the highest quality HJS German sport cats maximizes power across the entire power band. Without any tune and compared to a stock car, a gain of 21whp at 7100rpm and 27ft/lbs of tq at 4700rpm was observed with the sport cats, translating to a 25hp increase at the crank.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
