Helical Valves

• Fabspeed chose to use Helical Valves in their 991 GT3 / GT3 RS track exhaust systems for their exceptional quality, which has been proven by numerous OEM manufacturers such as McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and others. These valves are a key component of Fabspeed’s Side Muffler Bypass pipes, opening and closing with precision to control gas flow and optimize engine back-pressure for enhanced performance. Helical’s extensive experience in high-volume OEM automotive applications has led to features such as a highly durable pneumatic actuator, precision flat sealing faces inside the valve, stiffening ribs, and high-temperature bearings at both ends of the butterfly spindle.

02 Bungs 

• Fabspeed relocated the O2 bungs from the collector of the headers to the Side Muffler Bypass Pipes to maintain factory-like functionality with their Long Tube Competition Headers, ensuring that all cylinders are read while optimizing the performance of the collector. This design replaces the existing SMBPs, allowing for a seamless upgrade to the Long Tube Race Header design at any time in the future.
