The modular RENNKRAFT headers present an ideal solution for any street-driven 4.0-liter Cayman or Boxster. Featuring a patented modular design, these headers incorporate a quick-release v-band connector, enabling owners to effortlessly interchange between our German-made HJS 200-cell cats and competition pipes for track use. Translated from German, Rennkraft means “race power,” and these distinctive headers embody true street and racetrack functionality within an innovatively engineered package.

Sound

• When equipped with Fabspeed’s 200-cell cats, drivers can expect a significantly louder exhaust note characterized by a more raw and aggressive sound. The higher frequency tones become more distinct, while deceleration burbles gain in robustness and transparency. With the installation of competition pipes, drivers can anticipate a sound reminiscent of a 911 CUP car rather than a typical Porsche street car, offering a volume that is assertive yet not overwhelming, with an aggressive and race-bred character. Even with the over axle GPF delete pipes installed, the stock muffler ensures there is no drone whatsoever.

Power

• Through extensive dyno development, it was determined that mid-length headers yield the highest power gains across the entire power band. Without any tune, in comparison to a stock vehicle, there was an increase of 31whp and 19ft/lbs at 7400rpm with sport cats, and 33whp and 24ft/lbs at 7200rpm with competition pipes installed. This translates to a remarkable gain of 33hp and 36hp, respectively, at the crankshaft. Additionally, peak horsepower rose from the baseline of 383whp to 405whp with the installation of HJS sport cats, and reached 409whp with competition pipes.
