Why buy the package instead of the parts separately?

The Performance Package for 993 gathers the matched exhaust, intake, and tuning in one order, so the parts are designed and tuned to work together and are priced as a bundle. The ECU software is set up for your car's specific year and ECU type. Buying individually makes sense only if you want to add parts gradually over time.

What does the modular V-band design do?

The exhaust uses V-band clamps rather than fixed flanges, so sections can be unbolted and swapped quickly. On a 993 that means an owner can run a quieter, cat-equipped street configuration day to day and switch to a freer setup for a track day in minutes, without cutting or a full exhaust job. It makes the system flexible without compromising fit.

Which ECU software should I choose?

It depends on your car's year and ECU. Fabspeed offers a Euro EProm flash for 1995 cars, an OTP flash for 1996 to early-1997 cars with the drive-block feature, and standard performance software for 1997 to 1998 cars, plus a no-software option. Choose the one that matches your car at checkout, and Fabspeed will supply the correct tune.

Is the package street legal?

The package runs 200-cell HJS German sport cats and is tuned to run without a check engine light, so it is designed to behave like a street setup. It is not CARB approved, however, so it is not for sale in California or other states that require CARB certification. Emissions rules vary by state, so check your local requirements before buying.

How is it installed, and is it covered?

The exhaust and intake bolt on in the factory locations, and the ECU tune is loaded through the car's diagnostic port, so no cutting or fabrication is needed. Because it is a full exhaust, intake, and tuning job, professional installation and tuning are recommended. Fabspeed backs the package with its lifetime warranty.

Description

Fabspeed Performance Package for 993 Porsche 911 Turbo

Fabspeed’s Performance Package for 993 Porsche 911 Turbo brings together the exhaust, intake, and tuning it takes to wake up the last air-cooled 911 Turbo in one matched build. Developed over more than thirty years of Porsche work at Fabspeed’s own Fort Washington, Pennsylvania facility, the package combines the Supercup exhaust system with deluxe oval tips, the modular Sport Cat X-pipe with 200-cell HJS German sport cats, a CUP high-performance airbox cover, a BMC F1 replacement filter, and Fabspeed’s ECU tuning, all dialed in to work together. Built from T304 stainless steel with modular V-band clamps that let an owner switch between daily and track configurations in minutes, it adds real flow, a richer voice, and sharper throttle response while keeping the car running without a check engine light. Backed by the Fabspeed lifetime warranty, it is the complete package for a 993 Turbo owner who wants a coordinated upgrade from a single maker rather than a shelf of separate parts.

Built to Work Together

Each part in the package complements the next: the Supercup exhaust and Sport Cat X-pipe open flow from the turbochargers back, the CUP airbox cover and BMC F1 filter let the engine breathe more freely, and Fabspeed’s ECU tuning retunes the car to use it all. The modular V-band construction is a real advantage on a collectible 993, because it lets an owner run a quieter street setup day to day and swap to a freer configuration for a track day without a full exhaust job.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
