Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Exhaust System for 930 Porsche 911 Turbo
Fabspeed’s Maxflo Performance Exhaust System for 930 Porsche 911 Turbo gives the original air-cooled 911 Turbo more power and a deeper voice while keeping it civil enough to live with. Fabspeed has built exhausts for Porsche for more than thirty years at its own Fort Washington, Pennsylvania facility, and the Maxflo replaces the heavy factory muffler with complete 3-inch, 14-16 gauge T304L stainless tubing and its own hydro-formed, ceramic-packed Maxflo mufflers. On Fabspeed’s dyno it adds 15 wheel horsepower, sharpens throttle response, and noticeably reduces the 930’s turbo lag, while giving the car a deeper, more aggressive note that stays controlled rather than raw. It bolts on to the stock turbo or an upgraded K27, comes in single or dual-outlet form with oval or quad tips, and carries the Fabspeed lifetime warranty. For a 930 owner who wants more sound and response without the volume of a full race exhaust, it is the balanced choice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which cars does the Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Exhaust System for 930 Porsche 911 Turbo fit? It fits the air-cooled 930 Porsche 911 Turbo built from 1976 to 1989, both the 3.0-liter turbo of the early cars and the 3.3-liter turbo from 1978 on. It bolts onto the stock turbo or an upgraded K27 turbo. It is made for the single-turbo 930, not the later twin-turbo 993 Turbo.
What does the Maxflo add? On Fabspeed’s dyno the Maxflo Performance Exhaust adds 15 wheel horsepower, sharpens throttle response, and noticeably reduces the 930’s turbo lag. The gains come from replacing the restrictive factory muffler with free-flowing 3-inch stainless tubing and Fabspeed’s hydro-formed Maxflo mufflers. It is a moderate, street-friendly gain rather than a full race jump.
How does it sound compared to Fabspeed’s other 930 exhausts? The Maxflo gives the 930 a deeper, more aggressive note than stock, but the ceramic-packed mufflers keep it controlled rather than raw. It is more refined than the Supercup Race Exhaust, which is louder and lighter, and it does not run a catalyst like the Muffler Bypass with Sport Cat. It is the balanced, street-friendly choice in the range.
What is the difference between the standard and dual-outlet setups? The standard setup uses the factory single-outlet layout and bolts on with no cutting. The dual-outlet setup routes to two outlets for a more aggressive look, but it requires some modification to the rear bumper valance to fit. Both come with a choice of oval or quad tips, chosen at checkout.
Is it street legal? It is not CARB approved, so it is not for sale in California or other states that require CARB certification. Emissions rules vary by state, so check your local requirements before buying. Outside those states it is a bolt-on performance and sound upgrade.
Is it hard to install, and is it covered? The standard setup is a simple bolt-on that installs on the stock turbo or an upgraded K27 with no cutting or welding; only the dual-outlet configuration needs bumper-valance work. Professional installation is recommended for a proper seal. Every Maxflo Performance Exhaust is backed by the Fabspeed Lifetime Warranty.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
