Which Porsche Macan models does the Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe fit?

The Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe fits the twin-turbo V6 Porsche Macan S, GTS, and Turbo from 2014 onward, in both 2.9L and 3.0L V6 forms. It does not fit the 2.0L four-cylinder Macan. Because it is developed from 3D scans of the factory exhaust, it bolts to the original mounting points, though minor cutting is needed at the factory exhaust break point.

How much louder will the X-pipe make my Macan?

On its own, not dramatically. The X-pipe is designed to refine and enrich the V6's tone and improve scavenging rather than add raw volume. For a bigger increase in sound, Fabspeed recommends pairing it with a rear slip-on exhaust, which lets the crossover's benefits come through fully while keeping the vehicle comfortable at cruise.

Is installation a simple bolt-on?

Mostly. The X-pipe is engineered from 3D factory scans to bolt to the original mounting points, but minor cutting is required at the factory exhaust break point, so professional installation is recommended. No tune is required, and Fabspeed guarantees the installation will not trigger a check engine light.

Is the Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe emissions legal?

Yes. The Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe is an intermediate mid-pipe that is emissions legal in all fifty states and worldwide, and it does not trigger a check engine light. It changes how the exhaust flows and sounds between the factory components without affecting the vehicle's emissions equipment.

What is the X-pipe made from?

It is mandrel-bent from T304L stainless steel and hand-built in the United States, using full 3D scans of the Macan factory exhaust for precise fitment. The double X-pipe crossover design improves scavenging between the cylinder banks. Every X-pipe is backed by Fabspeed's lifetime warranty, so it is built to last the life of the vehicle.

What does a double X-pipe actually do?

A double X-pipe joins the left and right exhaust banks with a crossover, which balances exhaust pulses and improves scavenging. The result on the Macan is freer flow and a smoother, more exotic V6 tone. It is the foundation of an exhaust build, refining the sound and flow that a rear slip-on then amplifies.

Description

Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe for 95B Porsche Macan S / GTS / Turbo

The Fabspeed Intermediate X-Pipe for the 95B Porsche Macan S, GTS, and Turbo sharpens the V6’s voice from the middle of the exhaust outward, where the factory routing leaves performance on the table. Built around a double X-pipe crossover and mandrel-bent from T304L stainless steel, each pipe is developed from full 3D scans of the Macan’s factory exhaust and hand-finished in the United States for fitment that matches the original mounting points. The crossover balances pulses between the banks for stronger scavenging, giving the V6 a smoother, more exotic tone and freer flow without turning the vehicle raucous, and it does so while remaining emissions legal in all fifty states with no check engine light, guaranteed. Backed by Fabspeed’s lifetime warranty, it is the foundation any serious Macan exhaust build starts from.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
