Eventuri introduces the BMW Z8 Intake System, an engineering-led upgrade that elevates the Z8 driving experience while honoring the platform’s iconic character. Constructed from prepreg carbon fiber, the system blends function and form in a cohesive, OEM-plus package. The design advances the OEM airbox by increasing internal volume and optimizing the lid geometry with integrated MAF tubes. By reshaping the airflow path and reducing stagnation zones, the lids allow the panel filters to operate more effectively, improving throttle response and overall performance. While retaining the factory airbox bases already equipped with a substantial cold-air feed behind the front bumper, the Eventuri system enhances them with precisely engineered lids. Smoother flexible hoses are incorporated to further refine flow dynamics. These components reduce turbulence and promote a consistent, uninterrupted airstream to the engine, translating into measurable performance improvements across a range of driving conditions.

AIRBOX LIDS

• Eventuri’s airbox lids integrate the MAF tubes, enabling a reshaped profile that reduces stagnation and turbulence. The airflow now transitions more directly through the panel filters into the MAF sections, with fewer interfaces than the OEM design. Volume has also been maximized to support a higher overall flow rate to the engine.

INLET TUBES

• Eventuri has developed custom inlet tubes to connect the new lids to the plenum, creating a smooth, uninterrupted flow path. Each tube incorporates a flexible section to accommodate engine movement while maintaining a secure, reliable seal.

CUSTOM PANEL FILTERS

• Eventuri’s high-flow panel filters employ a multi-layer dry filtration medium to deliver robust particle capture while supporting increased airflow. They are washable and serviceable, similar to Eventuri’s cone filters.
