These splitters are engineered to perfectly follow the curvature of the vehicle, fitting directly onto the lower bumper mounting location for a quick and easy installation. Crafted using AutoTecknic’s signature autoclave technology and pre-preg 3K twill weave carbon fiber, these aero splitters are finished with a UV-protected high-gloss clear coat, making them some of the lightest, most durable, and precisely fitting splitters available on the market. Dry carbon, known as the highest-quality type of carbon fiber product, is produced through a specific manufacturing process. In this process, a “pre-preg” or impregnated piece of carbon material is placed into a mold and then sealed in a vacuum (autoclave) to cure properly. The autoclave vacuuming technique used in creating dry carbon ensures fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets, resulting in a product that is lighter and creates less waste than the traditional “wet” method.
