Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for F9X BMW X3 M / X4 M

Eventuri regards BMW’s X3M / X4M intake layout as well executed within the available space: the airflow path from filters to turbo inlets is notably direct, avoiding the abrupt turns common to many OEM boxes. Rather than a ground-up redesign, Eventuri enhances the factory system by reducing restriction and improving thermal efficiency. High-flow, drop-in non-woven mesh filters replace the stock paper elements, while large carbon front scoops positioned behind the grilles channel ambient air into the ducts to de-restrict the inlet side and help lower IATs. A carbon air box lid completes the package adding a richer induction note and elevating under-hood aesthetics.

CARBON AIRBOX LID

• Eventuri recreates the pre-preg carbon fiber air box lid to the OEM dimensions, preserving the limited clearance above and maintaining a direct airflow path to the filters. Increasing lid height would disrupt flow, so the form is retained while the carbon construction makes it thinner and lighter than stock, amplifying induction sound.

HIGH FLOW FILTERS

• Eventuri redevelops the OEM panel filters with a high-flow non-woven filtration mesh encased in a durable stainless-steel screen. The element reduces restriction while preserving appropriate filtration performance, and is captured in a heat-stable urethane surround that maintains shape for a consistent seal. Each set includes two small and two larger filters, designed to fit precisely within the factory filter cartridges.

CARBON AIR SCOOPS

• Eventuri identifies the front carbon scoops as essential for directing ambient air to the filters. Engineered for maximum efficiency, they avoid the flat, perpendicular faces common in aftermarket designs that induce turbulence. Instead, the scoops extend from the factory duct openings all the way to the grilles, mirroring the grille contours to capture more air and guide it through a smooth, continuous curve into the ducts—delivering a cleaner, more effective airflow path.
