Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for A90 / A91 Toyota GR Supra and G29 BMW Z4

Eventuri’s B48 intake is engineered to deliver a less restrictive path to the turbo while preserving low inlet temperatures. Recognizing the proximity of the OEM system to the exhaust manifold, a major source of heat soak Eventuri employs a fully sealed air box to keep IATs down, then overcomes the stock single-feed limitation by adding a secondary duct that draws fresh air from the wheel-arch opening. The sealed air box integrates a gold-reflective heat shield to minimize radiative heat from the manifold and is maximized for volume with a recess to accommodate potential strut braces. Replacing the stock convoluted tube, a smooth carbon intake tube with a 111mm starting ID tapers precisely to the turbo for an uninterrupted flow path. A custom, high-flow, dry filter, ISO-tested for filtration performance provides a larger filtration area than stock to support consistent, efficient airflow.

Dual Feed Carbon Fiber Air box

Eventuri crafts the air box from pre-preg carbon fiber to achieve two objectives: fully seal the filter from engine-bay heat and deliver a dual cold-air feed. Positioned beside the exhaust manifold, the filter is encapsulated within a high-volume enclosure; a laser-cut plate with a rubber sealing strip interfaces the intake tube, preventing hot air ingress as the tube passes through. To further curb heat soak, an additional shield with a gold-reflective layer lines the manifold side, reducing radiant transfer. Because a sealed airbag can restrict fresh-air supply, Eventuri augments the stock front-bumper duct with a second feed drawn from the gap between the wheel arch and chassis. A rearward scoop extends into the arch, visible behind the front wheel after installation and an internal splash guard diverts water away from the filter. For race applications using the optional headlamp duct, a removable side panel provides a direct, third cold-air path to the filter for maximum flow.

Carbon Inlet Tube

The OEM inlet tube uses a flexible, convoluted section to accommodate engine movement, but its multiple faces can induce turbulence. Eventuri replaces it with a smooth, larger-volume carbon tube, maximizing diameter to 109mm at the filter end versus the OEM’s 80.8mm an 82% increase in cross-sectional area. The profile then tapers progressively to the stock turbo inlet to preserve laminar flow. CNC-machined provisions for the temperature sensor and breather adapter ensure precise, OE-quality integration.

Bespoke Cone Filter

Eventuri’s cone filter uses a double-layer non-woven mesh medium that is ISO-tested to meet OEM-level filtration standards. Built on a heat-stable urethane base, the cleanable element integrates an internal flow-guiding cone to promote convergence and prevent a central stagnation zone. Compared with the stock panel filter, the media offers a substantially larger effective surface area for sustained airflow.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
