Blue Anodized Finish

• When exposed to oxygen, raw aluminum forms an oxide film on its surface, which is known as oxidation. This is similar to the process of rusting, but anodizing goes beyond that and creates a tougher, more impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. Anodizing creates a protective coating, making it an ideal choice for use in a racetrack.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The stunning design of the E–Slit Rotor is achieved through the combination of a lengthy curved slit and a separate “E“ slit situated on top. This dual–shaded effect of the two slits helps keep the brake pad lasting longer, with the lengthier slit conferring a softer pad sculpting and the “E“ slit furnishing extra braking power. When the long slit has worn off on the rotor side and the “E“ slit is now invisible, then the rotor should be replaced.
• Because of rust and corrosion, the brake rotor may experience wear and tear over time. Thus, it is advisable to change the brake rotor at least once every two years.

E-Slit Rotors

• The E–Slit rotor is crafted with a longer, curved slit than conventional designs, paired with four additional E–Slits to deliver a smoother shave. The longer slit and extra friction from the E–Slits help keep the brake pads in the best condition possible. • This rotor has been designed with a curved slit and four extra E-Slits to provide a close and even shave. The larger slit and the friction generated from the four E-Slits keep the brake pad in peak condition. It is crafted from a unique carbon blend to ensure consistent mu-levels, prevent heat cracks, and maximize the brake pad’s performance. The E-Slit design has been perfected to guarantee an efficient shave with every use.

Special Heat Treatment Process

• Strenuous use of a rotor over long periods of time can cause it to heat up and cause its surface to expand and contract, resulting in the formation of heat cracks. So, to increase its lifespan and reduce the risk of heat cracks, a pre–treatment was administered to strengthen the rotor‘s composition. This has enabled the rotor to experience more prolonged use with more peace of mind.

• A blue paint coat has been applied to the bell cap to both prevent it from corroding and give it an attractive appearance.

About Bedding

• To ensure that the circuit–specific pads, which are designed to cater to high temperatures, will work optimally, they must be preheated before they are hard–driven. This process, known as ‘bedding‘, is necessary so that the pads are not damaged by extreme temperatures.
• Competitions of the topmost quality in motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and some European races, all require proper preparation.
• Prior to using semi–metallic brake pads, a successful bedding–in process should be done to maximize the performance of the brakes at high temperatures and prolong the life of the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • To use a new product on a circuit, you must begin by heating the rotor to a range of 400–500° C, being sure to not apply excessive force. Subsequently, you can introduce atari, allowing the rotor to cool to a minimum of 100° C or below to complete the process.
