RedStuff

• RedStuff is EBC’s premier low-dust brake pad, specifically designed for fast street driving and suitable for cars, trucks, and SUVs under the ED range. These pads utilize aramid fiber ceramic particles, such as Twaron and Kevlar, instead of ceramic fibers, to minimize environmental impact. Free from harmful sulfides and lead, RedStuff pads are ECE R90 brake safety tested and approved. Although some dust is inevitable, RedStuff pads reduce etching caused by steel fibers by using easy-to-clean aramid fibers. Designed for durability, they require a 500-kilometer bed-in period, facilitated by EBC’s proprietary brake-in surface coating for quicker break-in. Testing by the UK Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) showed a 30% improvement in braking performance, with stopping distances reduced by up to 50 feet from 100mph.

Backplates & NRS Hooks

• EBC Brakes integrates the NRS (nucap retention system), a licensed bonding technology from Nucap Industries, to enhance pad-to-plate bonding.
