Following the success of the recently released Fender Oil Cooler, CSF continues its mission to keep the 964 and 993 models running cool, while also ensuring owners stay cool. As these iconic 90s Porsches age, many owners are finding that their original A/C systems can no longer meet the demands. Leaking, clogged, or inefficient condensers are common, and even functional systems may not provide optimal cooling due to the conversion from R12 to modern R134a refrigerant. Design & Engineering

CSF recognizes that most factory A/C condensers from the 80s and 90s are outdated in both design and materials. These condensers were originally designed for R12 refrigerant, which provided superior performance compared to today’s more environmentally friendly R134a. Even new OEM condensers are not efficient enough to maintain a proper temperature differential with R134a. This is where CSF comes in. With decades of experience in designing and manufacturing A/C condensers, CSF has collaborated with industry experts at A/C Solutions to develop this latest classic series product. Using modern design and manufacturing techniques, CSF has created a condenser that fits perfectly, significantly outperforms the factory system, and costs less than a new OEM unit.

The new 964 / 993 condenser from CSF features a modern parallel-flow core design, offering significantly better efficiency compared to the older serpentine-style design used in the OEM unit for the 964 / 993. Parallel-flow condensers provide superior heat exchange, ensuring improved performance and reliability.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
