COBB Tuning’s Carbon Fiber Intake with HCT is the Redline intake for the second generation Raptor and the 3.5L EcoBoost F-150, and it keeps the factory hydrocarbon trap working inside 3 inch carbon tubing, which is why COBB can list it under CARB Executive Orders for all 50 states. Construction

Every carbon piece is laid up from 3k tow fiber in a 2×2 twill weave and sealed under a gloss clear coat. The factory piping from the airbox is replaced with 3 inch tubing, and a bespoke carbon lid takes the place of the stock airbox cover so a reusable dual-inlet filter can be fitted. COBB moved the hydrocarbon trap into the Carbon Fiber Intake with HCT itself, using an OEM-grade filter element held in an in-house retaining cage that ties into the tubing, so emissions filtering matches the factory setup.

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
