The exhaust system is crafted from T309 1.4828 stainless steel. The Capristo Valved Exhaust System stands out for its ability to deliver two distinct sound profiles: a forceful tone during acceleration and a more muted sound for city journeys. This dual nature is driven by vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on the car’s performance and the driver’s actions. At subdued engine speeds or while cruising, these valves remain closed, emitting a richer exhaust note. However, when the throttle is pushed to its limits, they spring open, revealing the engine’s full auditory spectrum.

Each Capristo Exhaust system is precisely engineered and assembled, making use of cutting-edge techniques like 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at their facility in Germany. These systems are fashioned from the premium T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and are graced with an expertly polished sheen. In-depth studies led to the selection of this particular alloy for its sound-enhancing qualities, lightweight composition, and strength, echoing the features of Inconel seen in F1 racing.

These streamlined pipes are designed to replace the weightier OEM Silencer. By using test pipes, one can eliminate the flow constraints of a typical exhaust system. This modification amplifies the engine’s raw sound by doing away with the silencing effect.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust Valves Remain Open
• The Cruise and Sport modes on the car can be individually tailored to allow specific backpressure margins, determining when the exhaust valves will be triggered. This offers meticulous control over the exhaust based on personal preferences and resilience of the driver.
