• By incorporating higher grade materials such as glass fiber and aramid fiber into the existing FRP shells, the shell rigidity has been augmented by 15%. Shell Design and Hold Performance Considering Safety

• The redesigned shell and vertical cuts in the back support cushion the headrest and back, shoulders, and promote a comfortable and suitable driving posture for an extended period of time. The shape with elevated thighs prevents the occupant from sinking forward upon hard braking or a collision

Adopted Large Seat Belt Holes

• The ZIEG IV now includes the large seat belt hole that was previously featured in the ZETA III PLUS and XERO series. This allows the use of multiple types of racing harnesses and FHR systems, regardless of the driver‘s height and sitting position

The safety benchmark comprises 6 items–“seat back rear surface crash test”, “head restraint forward crash test”, “head restraint static test”, “seat and seat mounting test”, “seat belt mounting test”, and “flame resistance test”–in which a great amount of force is applied to the seats assuming an accident to check whether the seats are damaged and whether they can be maintained for the regulated time, and to confirm the safety of the seats.
• Also, BRIDE’s seats are the first seats produced in Japan to be licensed by FIA, and they provide 9 models which can be used in international races. In order to maintain and improve product quality to pass safety benchmarks and strict FIA strength tests, BRIDE conducts thorough management of its manufacturing process.
