Boost Logic V2 Intake Manifold for R35 Nissan GT-R

Boost Logic’s V2 Intake Manifold for R35 Nissan GT-R is a one-piece VR38DETT manifold, smoother and 5 lbs lighter than the original Boost Logic design, with a plenum sized specifically for the VR38 and tapered venturi runners shaped for air velocity into the cylinders. Boost Logic engineered it in CAD using lessons from its 2,000 hp 2JZ engines, and reports broader torque and large gains under boost, at identical or lower boost than a GReddy manifold in its own comparison. The 80mm tube behind the throttle body flange accepts GReddy throttle bodies or larger units. Boost Logic designed it to benefit any power package, but the 12 and 18 injector layouts make it most compelling on big ethanol builds.

Design and Performance

Casting the manifold in one piece mimics OEM-style manufacturing and leaves fewer joints for boost leaks than a sheet metal manifold. Newly designed cast lower runners keep a linear transition from the plenum to the intake ports on the head. Boost Logic credits much of the gain to torque, with the difference over a stock manifold larger than over the GReddy unit.
